Project Goal: To create an animated music video for the track by: jdn - 'Night Groove' (Bluetech Remix) for promotion of the release Harmonious Discord 038 (http://www.hdrecordings.com/hd038-jdn-night-ep).

Process: After quite a few listens to the provided audio I proceeded to draw the shapes that I felt would represent the flow over time.
The original drawings of shapes with pencil with highlighted vectors in Illustrator. These would be later imported into Maya and used to create masks that defined the moving organic edges in the animation.
An arrangement of the vectors I completed in Illustrator. At this stage I'm combining the vector drawings with my library of animation frames in Photoshop. This allows me to narrow down the media I choose to import into the final project in After Effects.
The hand drawn shapes provide an organic outline to a layered sequence of files in After Effects.
